The first combine hospital cancer registry report was published in 2020 from the Department of Cancer Epidemeiology of National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) situated in Mohakhali, Dhaka. This report combines the incidence and prevelance of different cancer from the year 2015 to 2017.
In 2021, a total of 1799 cancer patients had attended the Outpatient Department of Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital (AMCGH). Their diagnosis were either confirmed on arrival or a provisional diagnosis of some sorts of cancer had been made, and included in this report. Those patients who did not have any confirmed diagnosis were excluded in this report as they had no medical records with them.
